Thanksgiving Decor

Fall is here! The temperature is cooling down, the leaves are changing colors, everyone is pulling out their sweaters and boots. Time to cuddle up and get cozy during this time of year. Thanksgiving is just around the corner and it is such a lovely holiday. I might be a little biased to the holiday because my son was born on Thanksgiving. The best thing I could be thankful for. That Thanksgiving definitely looked different to the ones we were used to. But a delivery room, family around, and takeout Thanksgiving dinner was just what we needed to spend our holiday with our brand new babe.

Thanksgiving is such a warm holiday bringing family and friends together with the yummiest of food. There is something special about how people set up, prepare, and decorate for Thanksgiving. I put together a little list of different ways and ideas to decorate for Thanksgiving and Fall in general. Some of the items can also be used all throughout the year if you just style them for whatever the surrounding decor looks like.

The best kind of buy is when you can use it for a specific holiday and all throughout the year. You can click on the description or picture to buy or see more colors/options.

These fall theme wreaths are so elegant but rustic at the same time. These are so fun to diy too but I know everyone is busy around the holidays so here are some gorgeous ones to grab.

I love cute little signs in different areas of the house. These are perfect for Thanksgiving. You can put them on your front door, on the wall above the table or even in the middle of the table for a cute centerpiece.

Next is for the dining table. Here are some neutral and classic dining room tablecloths.

For the table setting here are some napkins, napkin holders, and unique fall coasters. Reusable napkins are the best because you can keep using them all year, such a great option for the environment. And the coasters can be used all fall and winter and even be used for other projects.

Here are some functional pieces rather that just for decor. Perfect for serving appetizers or dessert with a special drink to go with them.

A beautiful vase with some fresh flowers would look amazing. If you want some faux flowers here are some beautiful ones that capture those fall vibes.

With all the smells of the food in the air you will want an equally good smelling candle to compliment it. And eventually take over the smell of the room. An awesome idea is to fill a candle bowl or plate with coffee beans and put the candle in the middle. It will take on the smell of the candle plus the coffee beans. Will smell amazing! Also look into getting a non-toxic candle made of soy? Here are two different ideas.

What would Thanskgiving be without pumpkins. From the fall esetic of pumpkins to cooking with pumpkins and of course pumpkin pie. They are just as nice to look at as they are to eat. I think putting little pumpkins around your house or as the center piece of the table truly brings out one of the best parts of fall. You could decorate the white ones or leave them as is. And I am a sucker for velvet so I love the other two options! Traditional oranges or super unique blues or you could even mix the two.

Another cute decor item is taking a lantern and filling it with pumpkins. You can use the pumpkins you may have bought over the season or faux pumpkins. This would look so cute outside on the porch or even as you walk in the entry way.
